So, What Must Streetsboro City Schools Do For Our Children?

The State of Ohio Mandates …

Your Streetsboro City Schools Wants to…

ü      Only half-day kindergarten

ü      Introduce the best possible foundation for learning with all-day kindergarten every day.

ü      Only transporting students grades K-8 who live more than two miles from their school. ü      Restore, for safety reasons, transportation for all students regardless of where they live.
ü      No limit to the number of students placed in a classroom.

ü      Keep the number of students in a class at an effective number for high quality learning.

ü      No services for gifted children, only identification of them. ü      Continue to provide enrichment services for all eligible students.

ü      No offerings of sports, extra-curricular activities or other after school programs.

ü      Educate the “whole child” by offering sports, extra-curricular activities and other after-school programs.

ü      Only giving students a very bare bones minimum curriculum. ü      Offer students a curriculum that prepares them for college and future employment.
Nothing about field trips, opening buildings to the community, WSTB, Channel 16, Saturday Success School and many other community benefits you have come to expect. Offer these programs and benefits to our students and citizens to promote a true sense of community in your Streetsboro City School District.

All of These Benefits Continue for Just $5 Per Month for the Owner of a $100,000 Home; $10 Per Month for the Owner of a $200,000 Home!
