I am currently in my thirteenth year of teaching. I received my Bachelor's Degree from the College of Notre Dame of Baltimore in 1996 and my Master's Degree from Marygrove College of Michigan in 2001. I am dual certified in regular and special education.

I began my teaching career with Streetsboro City Schools as a special educator with grades four and five. I then taught third grade for two years and fourth grade for four years. Next, I taught one year in fifth grade, and I am presently teaching fourth grade again at Henry Defer Intermediate for the 2008-2009 school year.

I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. I currently reside here in Streetsboro with my husband Joe. We have a daughter and a son, both under 2 years old, and Grace and Logan are the joy of our lives. We enjoy spending time with friends and family, working with the youth and music at our church and traveling. We also love the Browns!!
